Now in its 6th exciting year, Open Door Singers Diamond Valley is flourishing with a growing membership of 50+ singers who enjoy a wide variety of repertoire, fun, friendship and so much more…
The choir started as an pilot eight-week project designed to help you find your voice, experience the joy of singing in a choir, meet new friends and unite the Diamond Valley community in song. The purpose remains the same and the choir is growing steadily. No auditions required. Just come prepared for heaps of fun!
An enjoyment of singing, a love of music and a desire to have a good time is all you need to participate and join the choir. We sing popular music, contemporary favourites and some well known classics.
Our highly talented, energetic and engaging Musical Director, Shaun Islip, brings a wealth of musical experience and skill to the group. His charismatic personality ensures it’s a most enjoyable evening.
There is an attendance fee of $10 each session (books of prepaid tickets available upon request) and a membership fee of $85 paid annually.
The choir rehearses on Wednesdays from 8pm to 9pm in St Margaret’s Mud Brick Hall at 79-81 Pitt Street in Eltham.
